Helping Hand Mission Wendell was founded with a deep-seated passion for serving those in our community who face challenges in their daily lives. It all began in 1973; the founder, Sylvia Wiggins wanted to give back to the community. She orchestrated a plan to do just that. Now we have three locations, where families can find essential items at discounted prices, while also ensuring that they feel valued and cared for. Our commitment to helping the less fortunate has driven us to expand our services beyond just a thrift store. We offer donation pick-up and assistance to those who require food, and clothing. Every item purchased at our store contributes to supporting families in need, allowing us to provide ongoing assistance within our community. Together, we can uplift those around us and promote a spirit of generosity in the town Wendell.
